The 30-year experience of the one-day surgical children’s hospital

Based on the experience of surgical assistance to almost 10 thousand children and teenagers of Zhitomir at the one-day surgical hospital an administration system of one-day outpatient surgical children’s hospital was developed and implemented. The conditions, indications and contraindications for surgical intervention at the one-day surgical hospital were determined. It was proved that a short stay in the one-day surgical hospital, the fast rehabilitation after surgery and anesthesia had positive influence on physical and mental health of child, contributed to fast health recovery and considerable cut budget spending.
