The influence of cultivated microbial associations on the course and outcome of thermal injury (experimental study)

Study of the effect of cultured bacteria on the course of burn disease in Chinchilla Rabbits showed that subcutaneous administration of a mixture of uncultivated bacteria Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa at a concentration of 10⁵ to animals caused their death in 75% of cases on 13.58±0.36th day, because of the development of shock and multiple organ failure.References
