Abstract

The article contains the modern views revision of the basic pathophysiologic mechanisms of the keloid scars development, the analysis of the peculiarities of the keloid scars development in children. The systematization of the basic theories of keloid scar formation and the analysis of the latest scientific data on the hereditary and acquired factors is presented.
